Terms and Conditions

We will always do our best to fulfill your needs and meet your expectations, but it’s important to have things written down so that we both know what’s what, who should do what and when, and what will happen if something goes wrong. You (the Client) are hiring VanDig to Design and develop a web site or web sites for you, your clients or your organization. The agreed price and details of our offering have been outlined in our previous correspondence

Commencement of Work

We require a 50% initiation fee and all content upfront.

Supply of materials

We ask for all content upfront so that we can craft a website that displays your information in the best possible way. There will be no exceptions made. However, if during the design process we feel additional information is required – we will let you know.

Written content

We’re not responsible for checking grammar or spelling of content provided. All written content must be supplied fully proofed.

Graphics and photographs

You should supply graphic files (including Logos) in an editable, vector digital format. You should supply photographs in a high-resolution digital format. If you’d like us to search for photographs for you, we can provide a separate estimate for that. All images are to be supplied by you to us via Google Drive, DropBox or we can provide a method.

Refresh of Maureen Grenier

The current website for Maureen Grenier has a dated design and requires a refresh. There are a number of issues with the design affecting usable for visitors, including visitors that are using mobile devices. The design elements and content are difficult to update, even for simple changes. Even for someone that is a WordPress developer, this then increases the cost to make changes on the site. There is no way to showcase the current books for sale and where to buy them. This is important for Twitter and other platforms.

Setup WordPress, install required plugins to replicate functionality.

We will set up and install WordPress and the appropriate plugins to retain existing functions and support any new functionality. This will be done in a staging site, and then migrated to your live site.

Logo Design and Brand Guide

Create a new Logo that is appropriate to use on the website and reflects current design as well as a brand guide.

General Site Design

Create a clean and modern design within WordPress using a WYSIWYG page builder to allow for easier editing of content and design elements.

Migrate and Update existing content

Review the websites current content and either remove or modify it as needed with input from the client.

Content and Design Revisions of 2 Total

Allow for 2 content and design revisions.

Training

Provide training in Divi and WordPress, will be recorded video as well as a walk-through over the phone using screen sharing.

Website Suggestions

The following are additional items that should be considered during the project of the site and after launch.

WordPress Divi Training

It would be ideal to have some training in WordPress and Divi so that Maureen can make changes herself.
